We are back in Mexico! Following a short hiatus during the Covid pandemic, the Mexico Energy Assembly will be returning to Mexico City on the 4th and 5th of October 2022!
This year’s Mexico Energy Assembly Advisory Board meeting took place on May 25th, welcoming a diverse selection of Mexico’s upstream and power sector experts to discuss the many challenges facing the energy sector. Each insight delivered unique insights that were critical to developing this year’s agenda.

The Official Advisory Board met to discuss pressing industry topics including: the regulatory barriers holding up Mexico’s upstream sector; the investment proposition facing private investors looking at the Mexico Upstream sector; access before arbitration – untangling unitization with PEMEX; how the CFE/CRE regulatory shifts, Supreme Court ruling and Congressional affected the power markets in Mexico; and, the role LNG and natural gas markets play in providing energy security… among much more.
